AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides free tax assistance at the Keene Parks & Recreation Center now through April 8. Appointments are required. Call 866-444-4211 to make an appointment. To help you to get ready for the in-person appointment, packets are available at The Keene Senior Center front desk with instructions of what paperwork is needed.

What is the Cheshire County Shepherd Program?
The Shepherd Program helps county residents who are in need of durable medical equipment. It is run through Maplewood’s Rehab Department and is based on available inventory.
Who is eligible for the Shepherd Program?
This program is available to all residents of Cheshire County.
How is the Program run?
The program is run by appointment only at 603-399-7368. The program loans and accepts donations of durable medical equipment in good shape.

Winter is a great time to become a member of The Keene Senior Center. Members have access to many indoor activities from yoga classes to card games to crocheting classes for one low fee. We also provide exercise equipment, ping pong and pool tables.
