Located at 312 Marlboro St., Suite 100, in Keene, there is plenty of free parking. For bicyclists, a bike rack is in front of the HCS entrance which is the next entrance on the left. The bike trail is right behind the HCS building.
Each week, members enjoy a variety of classes including yoga, fitness, and dance, along with creative activities such as singing, jewelry-making, and card crafting. Popular games—like bridge, cribbage, and bingo—bring people together for fun and friendly competition. Special events throughout the year feature live music, educational presentations, guest speakers, and cultural events.
Founded in 1957, The Keene Senior Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving more than 400 members across Keene and the Monadnock region. Cheshire Village at Home is an affiliated Senior Center program that offers help with rides and household tasks to those age 50+. The Center's "New to You Thrift Shop" provides clothes and jewelry at reasonable prices.

A vibrant and stimulating organization, The [Keene Senior Center] offers dynamic programs and a welcoming community both on-site and throughout the region for older individuals and for those caring for family members or friends experiencing the challenges that come with age.
Recognized as the leader in advocacy for elders in Cheshire County, the Center has strong partnerships both in Keene and in surrounding communities, enabling individuals to easily access both programs and resources in order to meet their needs. Those who take part in the Center’s programs reflect a wide range of ages, interests and perspectives and truly represent the diversity of Cheshire County. The Center is well-staffed by professionals and an extensive volunteer corps, and is thriving financially.
2030: Impact on the Community
The [Center’s] warm and welcoming programs and its Resource Hub greatly diminish social isolation and improve the health and wellness of those who take advantage of this tremendous community asset. People come from miles around, overcoming the rural boundaries that were once an issue. Retirement-aged individuals recognize that Cheshire County is a terrific place to live because of the Center’s active presence throughout the region, and know that they can get the support they need regardless of their means or where they reside.

Winter is a great time to become a member of The Keene Senior Center. Members have access to many indoor activities from yoga classes to card games to crocheting classes for one low fee. We also provide exercise equipment, ping pong and pool tables.
