Have you ever wanted to make your own greeting cards but thought you couldn’t do it? Have you wondered about how to get started? No supplies?
Your solution is in the craft room at the Senior Center! Janice will guide you as you create unique cards of all sorts. Supplies are furnished. Members can participate for free; guests pay $3 per class. You can keep your creations or donate them to the Center - it is your choice. It is amazing how easily a beautiful card can be created and so much appreciated by the recipient! Join Janice and start creating. You’ll have to be careful - it is addictive.
First and Third Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 am.
The class will be held at the Center's Garden Room on the first and third Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 am starting January 6, 2026. All levels welcome from beginner to advanced. Margaret has been a knitting instructor in the Keene area for many years, teaching all skill levels from children to adults. Known for her patient and creative instruction, Margaret welcomes all to come give knitting a try or to grow in your skills! Lots of yarn is available along with needles and other supplies. Donations of yarn supplies are always welcomed.
Second and Fourth Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 am.
Bonnie Bissell, a long time Center member, is teaching a crochet class. She has been crocheting for over 50 years and has taught multiple individuals. Being lefthanded, she specializes in teaching both left- and right-handed people. The class will be held at the Center's Garden Room on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 am starting January 13, 2026. The group welcomes all individuals who would like to crochet together. Lots of yarn is available, crochet hooks and other supplies. Donations of yarn supplies are always welcomed.
Thursdays 9:00-12:00 pm.
The group welcomes all individuals who would like to sew together and share ideas about quilting. There are a few sewing machines available,if bringing your own is an issue. Donations or/for quilting material or supplies are welcome.

Winter is a great time to become a member of The Keene Senior Center. Members have access to many indoor activities from yoga classes to card games to crocheting classes for one low fee. We also provide exercise equipment, ping pong and pool tables.
