Are you skilled at a craft you’d like to share? We are interested in offering a variety of craft and arts programs. Please stop by and talk with us about your ideas. We will help you get started and soon your program will be featured here, and in our calendar and newsletter.

Handmade Cards

The 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at 1:00 PM

Have you ever wanted to make your own greeting cards but thought you couldn’t do it? Have you wondered about how to get started? No supplies?

Your solution is in the craft room at the Senior Center! Janice will guide you as you create unique cards of all sorts. Supplies are furnished. Members can participate for free; guests pay $3 per class. You can keep your creations or donate them to the Center - it is your choice. It is amazing how easily a beautiful card can be created and so much appreciated by the recipient! Join Janice and start creating. You’ll have to be careful - it is addictive.

Quilting Classes

Thursdays 9:00 am

The group welcomes all individuals who would like to sew together and share ideas about quilting. There are a few sewing machines available,if bringing your own is an issue. Donations or/for quilting material or supplies are welcome.

NEW Crocheting Classes

Second and Fourth Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 am.

Bonnie Bissell, a Center member, is teaching a crochet class. It will be held at the Center's Garden Room on the second and fourth Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 am starting January 13, 2026. The group welcomes all individuals who would like to crochet together. There are lots of yarn available, needles, crochet hooks and other supplies. Donations of yarn supplies are always welcomed.
