The Keene Senior Center History and Mission
The Keene Senior Center was founded in 1957, and has been providing senior citizen services for Keene and the Monadnock Region ever since.
Mission
By offering collaborative and dynamic programs and providing support and resources, The Keene Senior Center engages and empowers older adults to live vibrant, healthy and socially-engaged lives and serves as a resource hub for all who seek to meet the challenges of aging.
The Keene Senior Center is a 501(c)(3) charity. We serve over 400 members from Keene and surrounding towns. Cheshire Village at Home is a Senior Center program that offers help to seniors aging in place. As a service to the community, we rely on your generous donations to keep our center running.
